Transfer Credit Beyond IAI

In addition to IAI college course credit, there are other types of credit students can earn. How individual institutions accept these types of credit varies so students should work with the institution they plan to transfer to for specific information on credits they can receive in transfer. This section will help you explore the other types of credit you may be awarded in your transfer. Possible types of credit we explore are to the left and include military credit and credit from out of state institutions. Talk with your transfer institution experts, such as admissions counselors and advisors, to determine if you might not have other types of credit available to you for which you can receive additional credits. Ask about tests and the many types of course work you may have completed and whether they will help you with your plans and credits.
